Nei miei lavori rappresento la Natura, quella quotidiana fatta di foglie, insetti, farfalle.
Con un approccio analitico, faccio emergere le trame, i colori, le venulazioni, per mostrare la bellezza insita anche nelle cose più semplici e ordinarie. Attraverso una variazione di scala i miei lavori offrono una metaforica lente d’ingrandimento che permette di vedere il mondo rappresentato da un punto di vista insolito e subire, come da bambini, la fascinazione della scoperta.

Il medium espressivo spazia da colori neutri e materiali naturali a colori brillanti e materiali sintetici a seconda del soggetto; il risultato sono opere polimateriche mirate ad un equilibrio cromatico e tattile.
Foglie consumate dal tempo realizzate con spago naturale e lino grezzo; ali di insetti con spago e vari tipi di cellophane; farfalle le cui venulazioni sono scomposte con spago e colori acrilici brillanti su acetato o plexiglass.
Le dimensioni delle mie opere variano per permettere nelle diverse situazioni una definizione di dettagli o d’insieme variabile.

Lungo questo mio percorso di ricerca ho realizzato anche una serie “tracce” di opere puramente pittoriche in cui il protagonista è il disegno della pagina fogliare, qui le tinte neutre esaltano le linee pulite.

Come dico sempre la Natura di per sé è straordinaria, io mi offro solo come un tramite attraverso cui osservarla, un’indagatrice della Natura per mostrarne il recondito, non sempre immediato, splendore.

In my works, I represent Nature, the daily one made of leaves, insects, butterflies.
With an analytical approach, I bring out the weaves, the colors, the venulations, to show the beauty inherent even in the simplest and most ordinary things. Through a variation of scale, my works offer a metaphorical magnifying glass that allows you to see the world represented by an unusual point of view and experience, as children, the fascination of discovery.

The expressive medium ranges from neutral colors and natural materials to brilliant colors and synthetic materials depending on the subject; the result is polimateric works aimed at a chromatic and tactile balance.
Leaves consumed by time made with natural twine and raw linen; insect wings made with twine and various types of cellophane; butterflies whose veins are broken down with twine and bright acrylic colors on acetate or plexiglass.
The dimensions of my works vary to allow in different situations a variable definition of details.

Along this research path, I have also created a series of “traces” of purely pictorial artworks in which the protagonist is the design of the leaf page, here the neutral colors enhance the clean lines.

As I always say, Nature in itself is extraordinary, I offer myself only as a medium through which to observe it, an enquirer of Nature to show its hidden, not always immediate, splendor.
